Skaha Beach in Penticton. Its Greek level heat with golden sand and a huge warm lake. Unreal only 4.5 hours east of Vancouver.

Thanks for the tip Ciaran, ill mark that down as a place to visit.
How's the humidity when you go further in from the coast?

None at all mate. Very dry area desert that runs down to Nevada, no humidity or mozzies but the sun is brutal! The water is clear and for about 100 metres is quite shallow and has golden sand underneath. Other end of town is the bigger Okanagan Lake which has all the wineries running down the north end of the coast line to Naramata. Was up there today, its like Spain. You gotta see it.

    Okanagan is an absolute must.
