Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shower riser rail - victorian style. Where to source?

    Hi folks,

wondering if you can help. We have a mixer tap on the bath in a 'victorian' style. When we bought it, we also got a riser rail in the same style. The actual part that moves up and down looks like a tap.

(not unlike this one in wickes: http://www.wickes.co.uk/traditional-shower-riser-rail-kit/invt/212453/ )

Last week the moving part broke (the bit that looks like a tap!) where it holds the shower head, so that now we can't use the mixer as a shower head.

The place we bought it from has since closed down, and argos don't stock the rail and shower head holder anymore. None of the hardware/bathroom places close by do them or if they do they are very expensive.

Does anyone know where we could get either a whole riser rail and shower head holder or even just the accessory part that moves up and down the rail? Looking for something reasonable - I think when we bought it it cost less than €30 for the rail.

We are based in North Dublin so anywhere around that area would be ideal, but greater Dublin area or Drogheda would be doable also.

    thanks!
