Basic advice re changing modem/router

    I have the standard zyxel that came with vodafone, constantly have to reset it and the signal keeps dropping.

    I want to change to something that will do the job, atm we have a laptop, 3 smart phones a tv and a ps3 which use the broadband wireless.

    We have up to 3mb package, with little likelyhood of the fibre coming our way for a while yet. Use it for basic browsing,a small bit of streaming and the kids use the ps3.

    Just looking for advice of a basic model that will do its job and give me a reasonable performance without breaking the bank.

    I presume that its a modem/router that I will need to get.
