    Hi guys,

I have two ips assigned form our provider, one of which needs to be on the x.x.x.246 firewall (inside the F1000), and then I assign the external x.x.x.245 to the F1000. We used to be able to set up the old devices to use one IP only, but I can find any way of stopping the F1000 using an IP on it's internal interface... Is there anyway to have the F1000 using just the one IP address

    thanks,
    J

Hi guys, sorry for digging up my own thread.. I've been given instructions from an Eircom employee as to how to configure these F1000 (VMG8324) devices in bridge mode.
    1. Only configure the VDSL profile into bridged mode and leave all other profiles in their default state.

    2. Ensure to turn off the firewall on the eircom CPE.

    3. Disable DHCP.

The same configuration applies for both dynamic IPoE and PPPoE routers connected on the LAN side.

I am gonna try this tomorrow. It's not very reassuring to see all the problems that other people here seem to have already.. I swear that the F1000 actually displayed those reboot characteristic when I was working on it today...
