    This post had been deleted.

I was aware there was pressure in England but never read anything in Ireland about P3 as far as I can recall. I've no doubt some Irish people found P3 objectionable, but I doubt it played a big factor, as you said it is a market experiment.

Anyway, the Sun charging online readers, that's a classic! Print media is in a terminal decline and they decide to charge online readers for content!

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Polishing the brass on the Titanic is a phrase I've always liked. When everyone has a smartphone or a tablet it just won't be a viable business.

How will they get away with that?

What law would they be breaking if they had pictures of just faces and semen?

The move comes amid a national campaign to remove topless women from the media. The No More Page 3 campaign, spearheaded by Lucy-Anne Holmes, quickly garnered support and huge media attention, amassing over 113,000 signatures

Spearheaded by a flat chested woman... go figure. :pac:

Honestly getting tired of this whole "OMG, Women's boobs are taboo!!" attitude in the media lately, such as that other incident with your woman breastfeeding and was give out against.

We might as well put veils on women and be no better than the backward Middle Eastern views.

Who honestly buys a newspaper just to see a woman's tits these days?

If you're that desperate for an ogle, look at 'em on your laptop, or phone. Buy Zoo or Nuts. Go to a lap dancing club. Rent yourself a french film.

Or maybe even get a real girlfriend.

Any reduction in boobs is bad - shagged a bird (bbw) a few years ago who had a boob reduction - looked like her boobs had been mutilated!

    Thanked for the sheer outrageousness!

You could probably add escort to that list too.

No thanks. I like Page 3 and no amount of the above can make up for it.

Now it's just a colouring book/join the dots paper for adults with slightly less girlie pics.

I strongly believe that this page should be kept. We should consider other generations. I understand that such images are only a few clicks away for most in this age of technology, but we must think of those who do not have access to images this way. I am sure that many older men buy the paper solely for this page as it gets them excited. If it was taken away they would likely switch to a similar paper with similar news. It is key selling point for this paper. This applies to younger boys also, who may not have internet access and cannot buy sexual material from other sources. This paper will loose many customers with the loss of this valuable material.
