The best advice in my view is to cover all entrance exam and mandatory requirements for the kings inns and law soc eg evidence, jurisprudence, company etc.

After that, pick whatever you're interested in academically and don't worry too much about how it looks on a CV. A first class honors degree with human rights and environmental law is better than a 2h1 with banking and planning law IMO!

Nope. There are modules to be chosen if you want to meet the requirements for going to King's Inns, or if you want to make the FE-1s a bit easier for yourself for Blackhall Place entry. Or if you specifically want to practice in England, you might need to look at their requirements (I think you're ok, though, since English Land Law is only being introduced this year, I believe it was covered in Property 1 and 2 before). Check on Blackboard for the list of subjects needed for different qualifications.

Beyond that your subject choices don't have any real bearing on your overall career path. Pick what sounds interesting to you, or subjects that cover areas of law you think you might be interested in. You don't need to know whether or not you want to be a solicitor/barrister, let alone one with a specialist field.
