Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't play long ball all your goals where long balls and all your players left with a 6 rating except for 3 possession isn't much use with no outcome you got lucky and the reliance on matri will be your downfall.

Well, your collection of golden oldies are all due massive downgrades, so good luck fielding a team of 86's in a few months :pac:

My team shall march into Glasgow on Sunday and finish off the job, all of our base shall be belong to us.

I also think you will find, my goals, both from open play, were from a pass across the box from Kalu to Capel and a cross from the right from Elias to Matri, two varied and wonderful goals highlighting the ability of my team to adapt to a team happy to sit back and hope for a lucky goal on the counter.

Next time we meet, your poor keeper will have a sore back form picking the ball out of the net.

After their result against Sunderland, Juventus are now unbeaten in 11 games setting a new club record for most games unbeaten in a row.

Simon Woodward steered Juventus to victory against Sunderland.
Juventus beat Sunderland 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.
Marchisio had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.
Cabella was on the scoresheet for his side.

Only for your goalie you would of lost and more shots on target doesn't signify sitting back, I'd say your goalie and back 4 had most of that possession enjoy the fall down the league. Golden oldies class can't be bought.

You had 1 more shot on goal.

My team was superior in every department, you and were lucky, the golden oldies can't be bught but apparently the refs can, never a free kick.

Also, for a team that was on top, why did you condeed 11 corners?

Anyone can have 14 attempts when they are resorting to hitting hail mary shots from 40 yards out because they can't do anything with the ball.

73'AUGUSTO spots a run by DEL PIERO and threads the ball through.
DEL PIERO takes the ball on before hitting a low shot.
spacer.gif GOAL!! - OCHOA doesn't react in time and the ball ends up in the back of the net.
83'NESTA heads the ball powerfully up field.
DEL PIERO brings it down and tries to roll the shot past the keeper.
OCHOA dives early and makes a comfortable save.

At no point where from 40 yards seen your defence is woeful and your keeper got lucky and me and my oaps play finesse and make your team look like little boys.

alot of moaning and bitching on this thread lately ladies,

    on a lighter note

David Dalton steered Hamburg to victory against Shanghai Shenhua.
Hamburg beat Shanghai Shenhua 1 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.
Tévez scored the winner for Hamburg and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

still on top of division 3 although it be by goal difference tevez top goalscorer most assists and highest average rating in the league he has hit the ground running.

hope the good form lasts all season but the soocer manager game engine can be a cruel mistress:)

This would be relevant to me too, in particular the defender part :)

    Can DMs play in defence?

Usually play as yellow so not really suited but can do a patch job if needed.

Might have to do a rebranding from Anzhi to "The Arsenal"

Anzhi beat Sevilla 1 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.
Guerrero scored the winner for Anzhi and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

    Exibit A
Salomon KALOU holds off the challenges and rolls a clever pass to CAPEL.
CAPEL plays it past a defender and hits a shot at goal.
Goal GOAL!! - FORSTER can't react in time and the ball ends up in the back of the net.

    Exibit B
Mendes ELIAS crosses the ball towards the penalty spot.
MATRI tries his luck with a looping header.
The ball dips over the outstretched hand of FORSTER.
Goal GOAL!! - It drops into the goal.

Two fantastic, skilfully made goals from open play vs your from a free kick and one from a counter attack.

Admit it, you were lucky to get out of the game with your pride in tact. Your team relies on favouritism form refs and lucky breaks.

Again, my team passed you off the park and you conceeded 11 corners, I conceeded 5!

For your 14 shots only 7 were on target, so either they were nohopers from long range or your players couldn't hit a donkeys arse with a banjo!

66.66666*% of my shots were on target. I had 5 less attempts but only one less on target, so obviously the superior technical ability of my players means they don't just hit the ball into row Z, unlike your band of former footballers.

Look, it's ok, you got lucky and scrapped a draw, you can hold your head up and be proud of the result, it's always nice for the lesser teams to get a point against the big boys, won't happen again though!
