More like 7 people had him on their shortlist and were waiting for his transfer ban to finish today. Bringing his name up in thread before he's moved is only going to increase interest

3 goals in 9 apps so far this season....

possible in the future to 89, 90 at a stretch.................................. a long stretch (and most likely not gunna happen) purely because of the club he's at!

Deserves 90, one of Inter's best players in the last 12 months, he'll definitely get 89.

If you'd of kept quiet you probably would have had him easily :pac:

Real Madrid, Tottenham, Liverpool and Celtic all put in bids after you name him in the thread

And people wonder why the small clubs cant sign good externals!!!

wages are based on rating though & whenever they get a rating increase the chairman gives them a new one to match it, so when gomez decreased i decided to give him a new contract myself and it ended up being for his previous rating, no odds to me in this GW but matters in another i manage in

i don't want to stick guys on mad wages they'll never likely reach, if i can't get them off it in a couple of months & back to their normal wage

I've more than likely got him anyway, so meh.

My first bid was for face value, my second, after 6 other teams bid was the max bid I could make.

Once I made the max bid, I knew I'd probably get him, because I knew the teams with money wouldn't pay over the odds for an 88, where as I know that he's going to be a 89 soon, maybe even a 90 if his current form carries on and even if he doesn't get a rise, he improves my squad more than any other available external player.
