Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

how was Guillermo Varela worthy of a +3 rating increase today.?

Short, honest answer.
He signed for United.
Look at some of the increases in the last few days and you will see a similar pattern, EPL players are unbelievably favoured by the people who do the ratings.
Lamela got 2 increases in a few days 89->90->91, for no other reason than signing for Spurs.
Look at other players like Muriel, De Siglio, El Shaawary, Verratti, Ter Stegen, Carvajal, Pogba, Kondogbia, Mahar and others who are all as good as (and in some cases better than) Lamela but we won't see them getting boosts any time soon because they didn't move to EPL clubs for big fees.0 -

You must be thinking of somebody different because Lamela's previous rise was in December.Look at other players like Muriel, De Siglio, El Shaawary, Verratti, Ter Stegen, Carvajal, Pogba, Kondogbia, Mahar and others who are all as good as (and in some cases better than) Lamela but we won't see them getting boosts any time soon because they didn't move to EPL clubs for big fees.
Muriel, El Shaarawy and Pogba should all be reviewed in the next week, the others have all had rating changes recently enough. I agree that some of them are better than Lamela but he would have risen to 91 even without the move to Tottenham imo0 -

It's too big to be honest but true, I don't know what real Madrid have in the bank, anyone with a 93 rated player willing to sell for cash will be pretty rich afterwards0 -
