Received a letter from AIB apologising for given the credit bureau a bad rating for me over the past 6 years.
I have indeed applied for a car loan and cash loan over the past few yrs and been declined even by AIB themselves.
They now say they have contacted the CB and put things right,
Big of them doing that after 6 yrs of bad credit for no reason.
This happen to anybody else? And did you take any action?
    Thanks

No just that they made an error.

If you had to purchase credit at a higher rate that what you should have got it at, had your credit rating not been affected - i reckon that you should be entitled to a refund of the difference from AIB

I recently heard that AIB are now under quota to give out so many loans per month so maybe this has something to do with you now being magically able to get a loan!!!
