Double pole socket

    I am replacing some sockets that are in my house . They are only 5 yrs old but some of them started burning the plastic of the plugs.. Attached is the current wiring . The live and neutral positions are grand but is it ok th just put the earth wire in one of the two provided at the top of the socket.

    Yeah, either is fine.

    You can also use one for the supply earth and the other to bond the back box if you want.
