    watched it tonight. painfully bad in comparison to the UK version. And Catherine Thomas' arse looked huge in that leather dress!

    This show would really benefit from cutting down the numbers of people that get through in the blind auditions. So much mediocrity and down right appalling singing from people who just aren't consistent or talented enough. 10 on each team is way too much, they should have a cull down to 8 in the battles each and then 3/4 each in the live shows with 1 going home every week then. Have 1 less audition show and 1 less battle round and have longer live rounds, thats where the winner is decided anyway. We've been bombarded with 40 different singers who have had successful auditions and I'd say only maybe 5/6 of them have been in any way memorable or better than outright dreadful. The battle round is a poor format as well for reasons already mentioned: promotes screaming and wailing rather than dueting and there is a mismatch in the talent getting through versus that going home.

    Both Kelly and Daisy did great, I thought Daisy sounded better overall.

    The new 'steal' format makes a lot of the judges comments sound very hollow overall I think.
