UCD were having a giraffe voting him the winner! That was shocking.

she was good in fairness, sometimes the rejection makes no sense

Yer lad Eoghain has no business on telly, vacuous plank. He did the pilot of Next Weeks News and was replaced for the series. Childrens telly at a push, gerrimmoff.

Sometimes I wonder how they can justify putting some singers through

    So out of tune.
She will probably be put through

This season has actually been painful to watch! Can't believe some of the people that have gone home and those who have been chosen!

Did bressie actually say missionary statement instead of mission statement?

"Bressie won the first series of the voice of Ireland"

Now theres a statement that is completely true, Pat Byrne didn't win anyway with the benefit of hindsight

It's sad sometimes that the act's don't get the recognition they deserve. Personally I agree with kian - bressies song choices are awful.

Didn't last years winner come out to say he hasn't spoken to Jamelia since last years final?!

What a class interpretation of that song - lovely!!

I can see why they didn't put the Eddie Vedder-a-like through. I love Pearl Jam and I thought he did a brilliant copy of it, but because he had the same sound as Eddie Vedder, it would be difficult for the coaches. You know how they're always talking about bringing people out of their "genre"...

Some good talent tonight. I liked the guy who did Viva Forever, very distinctive style and very charismatic (and I suppose it doesn't hurt that he's hawt!) - looking forward to the battles. Didn't recognise any of the people assisting the judges/mentors though?

I think it was Matt cradle with kian Egan?

Yes just saw that on Wikipedia, and Sarah Harding (out of Girls Aloud) is 'advising' Bressie. Nobody has been confirmed for Dolores and Jamelia so far but both were shown in the clips at the end of tonight's show - didn't ring any bells for me.

Dolores has been such a great addition to this show. Her feedback is always the sharpest, more relevant out of the four and it's clear that contestants are tripping over themselves to be on her team. Shows the benefit of having a real musician up there.

I love the idea of the 'steals', it was annoying last year to see some good acts go early

Not the greatest of battles but I'd go for Gavin(?) on this one...

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,274 ✭✭✭✭leahyl
