Here's one I really like and even though it was released by Cineplex last year for use in Cinema’s, it's well worth a watch.

It has the two main ingredients for the softie (like me!)

    1. It pulls at the heart strings

    2. There is a valid moral therein

'Lily and The Snowman,' A Touching Christmas Short

The short tells the story of a young girl and her friendship with a snowman, and the adventures they have together.

Their connection fades as the girl grows older - but somehow, they never lose touch.

The soundtrack is 'Follow You Follow Me' by Vapor ft Adaline.

The overly sentimental Lidl one where they fix up the house for the old boy. Brought a tear to my eye. Dunno how I'll feel in a months time having seen it 4000 times.

Corny as hell but yeah it has something. Not sick of it yet anyway.

The Dunnes Stores Christmas Advert, it's a little cheesey but I like it.

A Guinness one I liked from about six years ago.

if the house had been left unlived in, surely it'd be damp as hell
it had all the furnishings and appliances

a few lights and cleaning out wouldn't transform it that quick

The Vincent de paul.advert is so moving. Especially at this time of year. Shows the 2 sides of people giving donations. Very well thought out.

These may not be the greatest drink-driving ads ever... but they're still more imaginative than the RSA's.

    Hi,
I'm not sure what car manufacturer it is for, but there is an ad at the moment showing someone trying in vain to reverse a horse-box around a corner. The onlooking horses are rolling about with laughter.
Then the new car comes in, with Trailer Assist, and zips into the spot.

As someone who has tried, and failed, to reverse both trailers and horse-boxes, I love this ad (and wish I had the feature!).

That ad for Ladbrokes where everyone in the café is Chris Kamara is absolutely hilarious.
Especially the part when he/she is pouring the tea :D:):D

If you have seen better then post them! those are by far the smartest ads I have ever seen, that I can remember, and not just drink driving ads. Perfect blend of humour -yet harrowing, disturbing & thought provoking scenes.

They are good ads - but the reaction to them when they were released was generally mixed.

On the other hand, this ad - which I've posted before - is one of the most famous drink-driving ads of all time:

That ad annoys me. The cracker is still made with potato so why are they making out there is no potato in it?

I know I've mentioned this ad already, but it grabs me every time.
    This is the full version.
