Hard to beat coming in from work at 6pm, sitting down for the spuds and watching the last half hour of spurs when they are 2 or 3 nil up. Here's hoping!

It's Fabergé eggs, not chocolate, Russians only care for gold and diamonds

Definitely, something to look forward to on a drab Thursday evening. I just hope they can keep up the standard shown so far.

In AVB's press conference today: Jan and Paulinho have been rested and haven't travelled to Russia. Rose may be back in contention for West Ham

Great news re Rose, he gives us an extra dimension down the left.

Hard to see us lose this one, hopefully lamella has a good game.

Anzhi only managed a 0-0 draw away to Sherrif, they sold almost their whole squad in pre-season. We should destroy these lads..... should;)

    Irish Ref & Linos too

Good strong squad, amazing considering a maximum of 3 from that list will start on Sunday!

Why on earth is Lloris been risked for these games. I just cant understand it. such a critical player for us in the EPL this season.
Freidel needs game time so he can stay sharp should he be needed in the EPL and instead he's kicking his heels on the bench.

naughton should have played instead of walker - walker needs a rest and im very worried about dembele. he is playing every game

Alex McLeish...... No wonder all his teams did sh!t - he bored them to death.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,284 ✭✭✭DubPerryman

30 mins gone, this game is being played like a friendly.

Chiriches isn't from the British school of defending. He let the ball bounce in his own half and dwelled on the ball when closed down by two players. Against stronger oppostion would have cost us.

Just as I'm typing, Defoe has scored..... GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,910 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Super ball, Oh Defoe scores again mmm?

  • Registered Users Posts: 471 ✭✭nipps

    great finish from defoe

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,910 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

McLeish sounds like he's been nipping at the cough medicine, drowsy as fock. Heavy night Alex eh?

Sloppy play from us so far, especially in passing, but it was a quality pass from Holtby and an excellent finish from Defoe.
