    Hard to beat coming in from work at 6pm, sitting down for the spuds and watching the last half hour of spurs when they are 2 or 3 nil up. Here's hoping!

    Definitely, something to look forward to on a drab Thursday evening. I just hope they can keep up the standard shown so far.

    Anzhi only managed a 0-0 draw away to Sherrif, they sold almost their whole squad in pre-season. We should destroy these lads..... should;)

    Why on earth is Lloris been risked for these games. I just cant understand it. such a critical player for us in the EPL this season.
    Freidel needs game time so he can stay sharp should he be needed in the EPL and instead he's kicking his heels on the bench.

    30 mins gone, this game is being played like a friendly.

    Chiriches isn't from the British school of defending. He let the ball bounce in his own half and dwelled on the ball when closed down by two players. Against stronger oppostion would have cost us.

    Just as I'm typing, Defoe has scored..... GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL!!!
