The AIA isn't as shocking as when I first saw it. It's grown on me.

I was thinking that myself, looked stupid at the launch! It's all about the symmetry!

Our ideal group is teams close to us...

Pot 2 - Betis or Freiburg or Salzburg

Pot 3 - Elfsborg or one of the three Portugese teams - Vitoria or Pacos de Ferreira or Estoril Praia

Pot 4 - Tromso or St Gallen or Thun or Esbjerg

Yeah, but distance wise it's probably the worst draw.

I think their own players get a plane to their matches!

Anzhi - 2376 miles from London

Tiraspol (Sheriff) - 1641 miles from London

I'm willing to put money on our next team being that Shaktar team from Kazakstan!

I'd be fairly sure Anzhi will play their home EL games in Moscow (UEFA don't like having matches on in Dagestan for some reason).

So travel wise it'll be Moscow, Moldova and the north of Norway. Not the worst to be honest.

We should hack up in that group

ye its a great chance for some of the youth/fringe players to get a few games, but it will all depend on avb

True, the silver lining though is a)Anzhi have just sold nearly all of their players and b)Tromso are in a relegation dogfight so presumably the 2nd string squad (if feels strange even typing that) can be sent for the away legs with the reasonable assumption of returning with 3 points.

    Sept 19: Tromso (H) 8.05pm UK

    Oct 3: Anji (A) - 6pm UK

    Oct 24: Sheriff (H) 6pm UK

    Nov 7: Sheriff (H) 8.05pm UK

    Nov28: Tromso (A) 6pm UK

    Dec 12: Anji (H) 8.05pm UK

I know that it says Sheriff at home twice, but this is what SpursOfficial posted. If they make a correction I will amend it

Huge amount of what would be our rivals for the cup eliminated.

Udinese, Stuttgart, Feyenoord, Spartak Moscow, Saint-Etienne and Nice were all knocked out.

Hate the way the 8 3rd place champo league teams get a 2nd bite at it by falling in to this comp. Should only get one chance unlike the plastic club who won the europa league last season through a second chance.
