There's one somewhere else, I can't quite place where, that has been broken for years. Drives me nuts.

I know..head wrecking. Particularly bad given its tourist season!

I'd imagine it's the city council's job. Probably waiting on importing Chinese parts. I think tourists have watches, though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Do you think they all have watches?

It would be nice if it worked and showed the correct time.

The only one I can think of is above the Pen Corner on College Green.

There's another clock, red one, on a stone building across the street Abercrombie and down a bit.

Is there another one close to the former Philips shop on the corner of Georges St. The bell chimes the hours, can't remember if there's a clock there though.

Most of the clocks in Dublin either don't work or show the wrong time. It's a pain in the hole.

It sure is...no point in them being there if they're not going to display the correct time

Aren't most of them ON private buildings and supposed to be maintained by the owners of those buildings?

Don't they date back to when most people couldn't afford watches?

(What's wrong with your watch/phones, people?)

No watch, smart phone batteries are useless.

And smart phone screens are impossible to see in the sun, especially if wearing sunglasses
