Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What exactly is a Prospectus?

    The term is most often used these days for the document which sets out the details of an offer to the general public to subscribe to buy shares in a quoted company i.e. a PLC.

    It's typically used when a company is floating on the stock market for the first time because if they are already quoted on the stock exchange and they need to raise money via a share offer, they will typically do so by a 'rights issue' whereby a new tranche of shares is offered at a discounted price to the existing shareholders.
