    It's glorious :)

Ill be devastated if Imelda and her hubby ever split up . Silly I know but they seem so happy
It's a beautiful love song, having so little material wealth but being so rich in the things that really matter (loving and sharing the simple things in life with someone special).

It's still the summer until the Rose of Tralee starts. I still get flashbacks of knowing that back to school is just around the corner when The Lovely Girls competition is on TV :(
That reminds me, we have Jonjo the Misers 'Spanx ratings' to look forward to :D

Night night all..as i said i will prob opt out of the LovelyGirls thread due to Daithi-itis..

I'm no doctor, but i think that means inflammation of the Daithi!

That was a lovely sweet song by Lisa Hannigan & Glen Hansard.

Think you might be correct there Donie-Im not sure the term for an allergy to the Daithi has been coined yet...:)

Maybe a Daithi Intolerance is the term I'm looking for..

Which is odd, considering it's such a common condition!

I think Jonjo is in Canada now, you might have to check if he is still available.

Elvis Costello there, I saw him in the Marquee this year. Pure legend.

I'm sure the Rose of Tralee people would fly him back if we asked them nicely. Jonjo's spanx ratings are a great source of entertainment, the show wouldn't be the same without him :(.

    Good shout, efb.

I love BBC4's music documentaries. Every week they have something worth watching.

It's a doc it seems - watching nonetheless

Michael D's wife has a look of Deirdre Barlow about her.

That's a good programme, esp as the split within the band takes centre stage and the financial fall out.

What band are you talking about? Most bands are run as businesses I believe, from years ago.

I was searching for that 50th show on the InterWeb and it appears the show has in fact disappeared.. Though I did enjoy going back over the thread about the show... http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056646887

However, I did notice that one very funny photoshopped image on that thread (coincidentally by me as it should happen), did not receive any thankzzzz..

People just didnt understand humour back in ... 2012.. :)

Now Jonathan, it clearly didn't receive 'no thanks'

I gave it a thank from my old account, lets not rewrite history.

It might have been too good, it looks too much like a genuine RTE Guide.

I got the joke, I can't speak for everyone else :)

    Belated thanks, Skid. :):););)

So Miriam finally wore a dress - she must have realised how shocking it would have been if she had gone the whole series without one. :D;)

And that was the full guest list after all. Had they used up what was left of the budget for this series?
