Blocked Standpipe Issue

The pipe our dishwasher and washing machine drain into (the standpipe?) is flooding. It seems like there's a blockage in it, and the water from the dishwasher can't drain away fast enough. Is this a job for a plumber, or is it something that can be fixed relatively easily? Any advice? Thanks in advance.
