Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Funny one team not a hope of not winning the title and the other not a hope of winning one lol

Some people might think it's you who has a problem and not the LOI fans
Nope - I said I was being tongue in cheek. I couldn't care less about the LOI.

The people calling Celtic and Liverpool fans idiots mean every word they're saying.

Big odds on Liverpool -1 given the squads

Football is always about fun, isn't it? :D

Clubs in the top league have been allowed to have one weekend off to play friendlys because they start early with European qualifiers

I really don't see the point of that. Why not just get on with the season once it's started?

Liverpool have as much chance of winning their league as Celtic do of not winning their league.

The optimism of Liverpool's supporters is sometimes outstanding. It might still be Liverpool's year...and if not, it will be the year after...or the year after...

    ;)

Strange that Celtic are able to cancel a league match in order to play in a friendly....no doubt they'll be whinging about fixture congestion at some point later in the season.

did it last season for the real madrid match.

Really? I don't think there's a single person who is confidently even predicting top 4 in our thread, let alone winning the league.

I had a bit of hidden irony in my post, sorry, if that wasn't clear enough.

For me, qualifying for the Europa League would be realistic.

Some amount of negativity in this thread.

Doesn't reflect town anyway which is a sea of red and buzzing for the game.

Why let a good stereotype get in the way?

All teachers are dossers, all cats are evil, all liberals are PC-mad liberal dreamers and all Liverpool fans think they're going to win the premiership - it is known, Khaleesi.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Sorry, I said earlier in the summer that it's our year. Our outstanding summer was only reinforced that belief.

Led by Michael D in a Galway Utd jersey who hits Neil Lennon with a Rainmaker followed by a People's Elbow by The Rodgers.

Usually, its the LoI heads who like to make the point about poor turnout for the national side and then the support of the foreign teams sells out the home stadium.

I'm sure you're able to make the connection without the confused face.

Did it not sell out for Germany and Russia in the qualifiers? Pretty sure Estonia was close too.

Nice work there, especially from Allen
