Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would prefer Anderson over Cleverley, but looking forward to seeing Zaha, and hopefully Adnan gets a long run out.

    Valencia wearing no.25?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭OctavarIan

Januzaj to come on for Cleverly after 50 minutes and run the show. Zaha to hit the post at some point. The script is practically written.

So if RVP gets injured who plays as the striker?

Lack of Kag is annoying but Giggs has gotten more games under his belt so am ok with him being there.

And would today not seem the right Game to give kagawa 60-70 mins. Giggs should of played that crap Game on fri

A win for Wigan would be lovely.

Yeah that giggs is useless. Never does anything good.

    Oh wait.

Remember him roasting Kaka and Coentrao last year <3

Giggs came on and played well after Kagawa did just about everything wrong :P Kag had a shocker, will probably come on at some point today but he did play most of Friday's match.

Nah, if he's behind it probably wont help him against a solid and hardworking Wigan team who are going to be on him in a flash. Not worried in the slightest, it's not like Giggs is going to be unfit.

Valencia will be wearing no 25 for the season according to Rob Dawson but requested the number himself rather than being asked to vacate the no 7 shirt.

Still, no 7 not assigned to anyone in the squad as it stands. :D

Wonder why he felt pressure, or is it a smokescreen? Didn't effect him the season before last.

Last season was his first as no.7? Is that right? Didn't think the no.7 was vacant for that long.

It wasn't, Michael Owen had the No. 7 before that.

With the amount of time Owen wasn't on the pitch, perhaps the no.7 shirt WAS vacant :pac:

Have managers always lined up with the players for this?

  • Registered Users Posts: 138 ✭✭mrmanunited

Remember that stupid idea for the 39th premier league game to play abroad for money making? Why dont they make this game that? The charity shield is a glorified friendly with loads of coverage and guarantees big clubs, has a bit of history etc and the result doesnt affect anything else...

    never seen it before.

Anyone notice that? The ITV lads were discussing Moyes and if the fans would get behind him and support him even if he doesnt win a trophy in his first season....

The camera then focused in on a flag saying 'In David we Trust'

The thing is, it was a spanish flag and was clearly in relation to the david in goal !

Moyes isn't used to it anyway. Moved a bit early there. :P

They're really didn't plan the dug out locations well when designing the new stadium, should be on the opposite side! Games are always going to be on around this time so sun wouldn't be such an issue!

About 3 players switching around, great movement and passing, high pressing also! nice!
