My call at the moment is for a brief cold snap, followed by some high pressure dominated weather for next 3-7 days, then maybe a brief tame easterly that won't deliver snow followed by an Atlantic breakdown before the next potential cold shot develops. I see that trend in the GFS ensembles anyway which aren't that bad if you watch them a lot and sort of average them out in your mind ;)

Temps tomorrow 5-8 deg, there'll be no Snow, maybe a little on high ground for a time.

Very little snow comes from the North west really and it is generally short lived and wet...day time temperatures are generally too high anyway.

What you need is an Easterly or North- Easterly...that has given very cold periods to the East and North of the country over the past 5 years really in the greater Dublin area anyway from 2008 to 2012 (am hoping it does the same for 2013!!):D:D:D

Just popped outside too tired to go for a drive. Blue skies above me took a wee photo looking towards bridgend (where the snow photo above was taken) beautiful evening out, seems to be doing something over under those clouds...

... and for the craic a photo of my car :pac:.
