Can someone recommend what I hope is the last piece of the puzzle?

Recently got this PC for family use and gaming.

I can run a lot of games but for example I can't more pressing games like GTA IV and The Witcher 2. Basically I would like to know if it's only the graphics card that needs to be changed so I can run games that are more pressing on the hardware, and if this is the case could I get recommendations for some graphics cards that would suit my needs?

    Thanks for the help.

Yes the integrated graphics on those processors isn't bad but it will struggle with more demanding games without some optimisations.

With a self build you can really boost the performance on the igp with high speed ram and an overclock to the cpu, igp and ram but this is probably not possibly with a oem pc.

Assuming your power supply has the connections and the power then you could just add a graphics card. What is your budget for a card?

What resolution is the monitor you are using?

Thanks for the help so far.

My budget is €100-€200's and my resolution is 1920x1080 (though I can rarely run games properly on that at the moment.)

I know it's not the most ideal situation since it's not a self build but I'm hoping as you said just adding a new card will get me by for current generation games.

I'd be a little bit worried about the power supply in that pc but this would give you a great boost and is not that power hungry.

It only requires 1 x 6 pin graphics power connection from the power supply. Make sure your power supply has this connection. The card might come with a molex to 6 pin adaptor anyway if not.

If you want a cheaper option this is also good but the 660 is a lot better.
