Hi guys Im in Limerick and Im looking to get child support for my baby from my ex partner. He has his number changed, when I contacted him on his work number regarding such he told me he had nothing to say to me and to contact a solicitor. So I will have to go down the route of court. Will it be very costly? I cant afford to wait a year for legal aid I want to get this sorted now but Ive no idea where to even start. He has a very good job, money wont be a problem to him so he will get himself a good solicitor. Theres noway I will represent myself against him. Hes a nasty piece of work, a compulsive lier and quiet an abusive man will be very hard for me to face him but I think my son deserves the best financially in life that I can give him. He gave me nothing towards the birthing costs. The last I saw of him was when I was 7 months pregnant. Also I found out he has more children. I know he supports one that he sees but the other he doesnt see , will all this be taken into account? If anyone has any good solicitors in Limerick that you could recommend for family law be great. Im sure he will looks for access aswell. Thanks so much all advice appreciated :)
