Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You'll close your eyes to try and sleep, but all you'll hear is...

I'm pretty sure they've been calling it Peterson's for well over five years now!

A torch that doesn't fade away?

A torch that doesn't fade away?

Now that would really be something. Useless without a warranty though.

It's better to burn out, than to fade away ......

That's a 'flaming' torch you're thinking of! Peterson's do those too.

If I had the time I'd help you, but the men in the white coats are here to take me to bed in Dun Laoghaire, the ferry is leaving soon.

If you all do manage to shed some light on the matter, let me know, I don't want to be left in the dark.

So just did some research there, as I was skeptical of anyone who would offer a 5 year warranty on torches, seemed a bit off...

So I found the inventor of these torches, and after a few pints and a bit of male bonding he told me that the torches are made to stop working after about a month, and that if you have it on for longer than a minute that it will switch off automatically and give you a little shock to boot. He then told me the only reason he started making torches was because he was quite afraid of the dark, but when it came down to it, he just couldn't be arsed making decent torches.

Anyway steer clear, that warranty ain't worth the paper it's written on.

Seeing how a small few had to go and ruin it for everyone else, we're done here.

If anyone starts another one of these or similar threads they will receive a ban.
