I keep reading news stories about this Eastern European gang that pulls off the elaborate heists that would put Hollywood to shame I had a quick search, can't find any books on the subject.. perhaps I'm missing something, maybe one is in the works.. any ideas?

It's possible that there are no books yet about this gang as they are still very much operational. Usually it's only after a gang like this is 'taken down' that details of their activities are fully investigated and revealed.

Give it a while, I'm sure Hollywood will bring out a film based on their exploits.
