Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

4s contacts display

    Hi all, hoping someone can help with this.

    Recently unlocked my 4s and now use it here in Canada on a different network. Phone works fine but in my text messages, all of my Irish contacts have reverted to showing the number and not the name, but if I go into my contacts the names are all displayed fine.

    Its happened with my whatsapp as well, is there anyway to correct this at all?

    Is that something to do with the +353 being/not being included in the number?

    I thought it would just know the numbers as they are saved in the phone, so when I view my contacts, the name is there along with the number, but if I check my texts it just shows the number.

    If I went back to Ireland and used an Irish sim, would they display as before?

    I could be wrong here, but I think because its an international number, its not the same as what is on your phone. it will ring in to your phone showing the international code, which will look different to the contacts. Try changing one of your regular contacts to 00353 and see what it shows when you receive a text back.
