The problem with Williams is that he's had plenty of chances at this stage and he's proved that he's not good enough. His mistakes cost us points last season. At 27 I can't see him improving. I do feel sorry for the guy because he should never have been given a 2 year contract. Sheridan deservedly overtook him at the end of last season.

As things go he hasn't really had that many.

Before last season he'd only had 8 starts.

That should more or less apply to any player.

Williams is fine as third choice. Hurley may even bypass him on the bench at times as he can kick goals.

Probably won't make a difference as your out half will almost always be either Keatley or Hanrahen, both of whom are fine placekickers.

Fourth choice this season I'm thinking. Gerry Hurley offers more than Williams as we know him. He's got to come out flying tomorrow to stand a chance

Missing the friendly this evening :-( was so looking forward to getting back to live rugby.

Don't about getting them at the gate prior to the match but there was a ticket office open in Thomond Park since nine this morning, as I say I don't know will it continue right up to KO.

Think you can buy tickets at the kiosk outside Dolphin side before the match.
