Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Delighted that the Carling Cup of Nations is back.

Westwood twice now has mis-kicked...bit of a worry

my eyes hurt from this ****e, flicking over to the english game and there is at least an atmosphere there

The commentator has a bit of horn for the Irish defense. Hasn't been great if you ask me.

They've nullified Wales pretty well. Just a shame the finishing has been cack.

would a sending off here effect competitive games?

When does that deal run out anyway? (The Friendly/Sky one I mean)

Not sure. It was a terrible decision by all parties in fairness. even the english game is on terrestrial TV in England.

Sky was never going to attract more customers with exclusive rights to Irish matches and the FAI were never going to grow the popularity of the international team by restricting its viewing to pay per view. Joke really. Everyone suffers except the boys who got the wad of cash off Sky.

    Nice play from Brady.

    Hoolahan has been very quiet.

    Great effort by Brady

Money's (definitely not!) too tight to mention

    :D

I always thought it would take very little lyrical tweaking to turn this tune into a Trap anthem.

    Germany 2 - 3 Paraguay at HT.

    Bit of a humdinger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Nobody picked up Davies there for the corner. Almost a sucker punch.

Ireland the better side that half. Brady looking good. Hoolahan hasn't imposed himself on the game, though, which is disappointing.

I'm almost certain they have no effect on qualifiers.

Decent performance that half. I know Wales aren't much of a test and Ireland aren't showing anything amazing, but it's great to see the team looking for and holding on to the ball so much better. Wilson, Coleman, McCarthy and Hoolahan make a massive difference in that regard.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,097 ✭✭✭roanoke

0 shots on target by either team. The Cardiff public must be clairvoyant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

He hasn't cut them open yet but he's been tidy and linked play up well. Give him some credit.

I thought he was very deep at times. Looks to be getting hold of it more now.
