Wondering whether UPC's fibre 50 is decent enough for running netflix.

Looking to ditch the Sky and replace it with netflix, just wondering if it's fast enough to prevent lag etc.

They recommend having at least 2Mb for Netflix, so 50Mb is more than enough.

I can watch NetFlix on my rubbish 8MB wireless broadband, living out in the countryside - so yeah, you shouldn't have a problem.

I tried that and got a letter telling me I had exceeded my unlimited limit and if I kept being a bold user I would be put onto some industrial package.

    Just saying.

Based on my knowledge of how the internet works, your 50Mb experience is likely to be 1/3 as good as my 150Mb one.

    The maths don't lie.
