Wasn't our car thankfully as we arrived after it happened, but a couple of cars were broken into yday during some race that was on.
One car had the driver's window smashed in and the other's lock was picked. They took luggage, money, etc. from one of the cars.

I had read on here that this was happening in the Wicklow carparks so just want to warn people.

The cars that were broken into were at the far end of the carpark so if you are parking, better to get a spot as close to the entrance as possible, but no guarantees of course.

There is hardly a layby or carpark in the Dublin/Wicklow mountains that doesn't have piles of glass from broken car windows.
The scumbags get around these days, don't know what can be done other than don't leave anything in the car and most regulars around there don't its the unfortunate tourists that get hit.
