    Hi
    Can you please tell me if there is another way to activate a new visa debit card instead of using a BOI ATM.

    I no longer live in Ireland so I need an alternative.

    Thanks for posting. 

    You can activate your Visa Debit card at chipped ATM's outside Ireland.

    The Visa website has a worldwide ATM Locator which you might find helpful.
