Madden 25 cup competition

I'm going to setup a Cup competition for people to get a feel for the new version and try out new teams.

Please post your interest below. I'll come up with a format based on how much interest there is.

Will be Xbox 360 and I will hope to start within a week of the game being released.

Thanks to everyone who signed up. I'll leave it open until the game is released. I'll do a random team draft.

I'll do a straight knockout tournament, with the winners in the first round going through to the cup competition and the losers in the first round will go to the shield competition.

This will give everyone at least 2 games.

Will it be this week, i wont be around much until monday at least, thanks to a new arrival so im pretty busy, anyway if im not around i'll pick the Eagles or the Colts whoever is free at my pick.

So we have 16 teams.

The 8 winners of the first round will go into the championship quarter finals, the 8 losers in round 1 will go into the shield quarter finals. That means everyone will play a minimum of 2 games and a max of 4 games.

I'll do a random draw to see who plays who. I'll do a separate random draw to determine the draft order.


The game is released on Friday 30th I think. Hopefully most people will have the game by early the following week.

What I propose is we try and get all the games played before the boards league gets started so hopefully we can get the games played pretty quick.

I don't think there is any need to wait for the game to be released to do the team draft. I'll stick up a thread for the draft on Monday so we can pick our teams over the course of that week so we should be ready to start playing games the following week.

That all sound ok?
