    Absolutely fantastic goal from Gleeson.

Strong suspicion of a square ball on that cork goal.

    Waterford still on top though

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,576 ✭✭✭garv123

Is Shane Walsh even on the field? Very unlike him to see very little ball. Had him down for first off.

Some calm heads are needed or else we could end up conceding goals again.

    Refereeing all one way....

    Refereeing all one way....

Waterford denied a deserved win by a couple of awful refereeing decisions:(.

    threw it away!!

Cork turned up and waterford couldnt handle it..

Seamus would want to hang up the boots too. The day of slow big men is gone in hurling.. slow old men have no hope.

What's the story with the fitness. Young lads going down with cramp after 50 mins.

Ye got a fair few dodgy ones too. Waterford deserved to win, some fine young players. We will hopefully be better for this game.

Well what would you expect throwing a 9 point lead away?

Great first half and 10 mins in the second half.. Then Cork turned up and Waterford crapped their pants.

Again the huge wides cost waterford.. Story of our lives.

Good game good display pity the win didn't come. Fitness seems like it will be a problem the lads faded after such a great first half. Still tho it's a good outlook if Waterford keep producing displays like that.

I actually thought the opposite, Waterford got a few v soft frees that they scored from

Not sure about that. Cahalane gave a fair shoulder, free against him, Waterford score. cadogan was very clearly fouled at the end, no free, ball goes down the other end, Waterford score. Plenty of its and buts in this game.

I thought the cork goal shouldn't have stood myself. It might have been square ball plus there was wild swinging on the Waterford man on the ground.

Just don't bother! its the story of our lives that we knock our teams before during and after the game...we were good enough to go 9 points up in spite of every man and his dog writing us off. A heroic, courageous display by our young guns. Restored our reputation in spades...

Too much reliance on the old men and still dreaming of Mister Mullane strolling around the pitch. Dark days ahead.

Cyril just went through it, wild pull - not really, square ball - was in, came out and went back in again, he seemed happy there was no square ball.
Horgan had a ripper of a distance point, Cadogan had an absolute preach from the sideline but lads the Waterford goal was worth the admission fee alone.

We didn't lose this game even though we were wrote off by everybody including plenty of Waterford people. We have a great chance of wining the replay as Shane O'Sullivan will be back and hopefully some of the injuries will clear up. We had a horrendous injury list going into this game. If Cork had that injury list they would receive praise from the high altar after getting that draw. A minor from last year scored a goal on his debut, that should receive some praise here. I can't believe the knockers on this site.

Far better performance and result that I'd expected. The fitness would be a concern as they blew up with 20 minutes to go. Cork though are an odd team, were asleep until they scored a goal and they looked stuck to the ground.

Glesson's goal was a great score but he waltzed past 3 defenders and they weren't able to foul him. Doubt that would be allowed happened by many teams.

Kudos to management as they had a game plan and it worked for 2/3 of the game.

Right date but its a sunday..Waterford young lads were outstanding today, goal from Gleeson was a thing the young lad must have dreamed about. Older lads didn't do too bad either, Brick was very solid. Ye should have beat Cork but for running out of a bit of steam. Well done Waterford.
