Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will be a very good game. The swans have a lot of pace and that combined with Bony and then Michu playing a little deeper they have the bones of a decent attacking force.

I feel keeping a clean sheet would be massive for United today but don't think they will.

2-1 to United seems a decent bet. Van Persie to grab one and Kagawa to perhaps grab another.

    1-2 for me.

Going to be tough one this but fancy United to come out in top. Just.

2-1 to United. RVP and Rooney, and Michu/Bony for Swansea.

I think Swansea might suffer from second season syndrome. On today's game, i'm confident of a comfortable win for us, 2 goal cushion.

    Should be a good game. 3 - 1 to united :)

Just noticed this on my UPC box:

    http://tvnewsroom.co.uk/sport/swansea-city-v-manchester-united-live-free-on-pick-tv-60636/

Says the Swansea vs United match is live on Sky2 and PickTV (channel 133 on UPC).

    Excellent!

Not exactly jumping for joy with that line up to be honest. At least Carrick is fit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,559 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

Swansea team: Vorm; Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies; Britton, Canas; Dyer, Shelvey, Routledge; Michu

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,389 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Giggs doesn't have the pace for the wings anymore. Could still be OK if he cuts inside I guess. Bony should do well against Rio and Vidic.

    Edit: or not :p

Swansea will beat that team I fear

It's available on PickTV on Freeview but not on Freesat. I'd guess it's not available on UPC either.

It'll be giggs, clev and Carrick in a midfield 3 with Welbs and Valencia flanking

Zaha has certainly earned a start for today IMO.

It's a pity Kagawa had to travel so far. He should be in there otherwise. If he doesn't start against Chelsea, I'll go ape!

I would have preferred Zaha to start and hope he does get a decent run out.I think Kagawa would have taken Giggs place if it wasnt for the midweek friendly.

Ah sorry I don't have UPC at all. Didn't realise it had Sky 2.

    As you were.

What? I'd have thought it was 4-4-2 with Giggs and Tony on the wings

I suspect it's the same style of 4-2-3-1 as in the community shield. Val in for Zaha.
