Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

should be a good game this. gonna go with 3-1 to utd hopefully. is rooney on bench? would laugh if he scored the winner :)

Can get why people aren't excited about the line up, no new players in it from last season. Still have some players off the bench if needed.

What time is evening for sky sports?

Raging I'm missing this. The Liverpool and Arsenal matches were both great entertainment.
    Come on United!

What? I'd have thought it was 4-4-2 with Giggs and Tony on the wings

Giggs played centrally v Wigan. Will be the same today.

When's the last time Giggs played well away from home? Swansea work rate and energy doesn't suit him, hope I'm wrong!

    Last week.

Starting Jones at RB ahead of Fabio is a poor decision too.

    Is Kagawa injured??

As an aside, you have to laugh at Sky today. They just did the day's results so far and not one mention of the fantastic game that opened the season today!

Performed well away from home plenty I have heard ;)

Welbeck fgs, you heard it here first. Will struggle in this but still think we'll win, 2-1 or even a lucky 3-1.

Jones over Fabio at full back, eugh. He'll be an excellent CB but never a RB. Watch the amount of times a move down our right breaks down between him or Valencia messing up.

Have to laugh at this shocking studio audience set-up as well. Audiences have no business being on a show if it's not a game-show

    Edit: Comedy panel shows aside

Does Giggs really offer more to the team at this stage than Januzaj? I appreciate everything he has done, but there comes a point where you have to question if he is in the team on merit or mere sentiment.

I think so.. even the advertising is more "desperate" this season. Just saw a break bumper there now:

Biggest EVER season of football (several non-league games mentioned with the PL almost as an afterthought.. not like it used to be!)
6 Sky Sports channels (only 2 of which generally show football)
116 Premier Leagues games live ONLY on Sky Sports

Maybe it's just me but it seems like they're not taking the BT stuff well..

    Yes he does offer more.

Gary not mincing his words. Swansea under Laudrup are a tough task.

After seeing the lineup I'm going for a score draw

Shouldn't matter how old he is, if hes good enough then play him.

Weak decisions from Moyes. Piss poor team selection.

Setanta, ESPN and BT only have 71 games between them iirc

Yea this new format doesn't make sense to me. It works for Soccer AM but not sure what they're aiming for here

Weak decisions from Moyes. Piss poor team selection.

See how they play before throwing out comments like this, very little difference from last week, played well then...

    Clearly he does offer more.

If Giggs was 20 and putting in performances like he does now no one would be questioning his name in the starting lineup.

Hating the new show. Awful concept and dreadful theme music. Was hoping they'd keep last years "written in the stars". Suits it perfectly.

Can't wait for Liverpool to appear on it, they can test-drive our new Renault Aspas

You can tell the shíts are up them because of BT.

Sky lost their mind when they bid 70% more than the previous 3 year rights deal.Yes an insane 70%.
Al Jazeera and BT put the fear of god into them.

Giggs is a weak decision. Swansea are a very good side and Giggs will have little impact.

Not liking the sky studio audience sh1te.

It feels like a fcuking panto. Worse again is having to listen to the vapid ramblings of Jamie.

Swansea are an overrated side who have fallen off after 2 easy starts in the last 2 seasons. A lot of players in their lineup not at PL level.

    Carragher talking some shit again.

    "More players need to score".

United broke the record in the league last season for most scorers.
