Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moyes is wearing a tracksuit. Sacked.

    Clearly he does offer more.

If Giggs was 20 and putting in performances like he does now no one would be questioning his name in the starting lineup.

But he is not 20, he is twice that. The long-term future of the club should be the priority, after seeing what happened to Pogba, I would hate to see Januzaj go the same way.

See a comfortable 0-2 or 0-3 away win here..

Giggs is a weak decision. Swansea are a very good side and Giggs will have little impact.

Kagawa get basically no preseason, januzaj untried, giggs is the best option we have. Yes, that says something about our midfield but that's where we are.

For those who don't have sky sports 2 the game is on SKY2 channel 121 for some strange reason.

It's another attempt to dampen the BT thing.. for today only Sky Sports is being simulcast on Sky 2 .. thread over in BA about it.

Nice rendition of Slade (or Quiet Riot if you're into Glam Metal) by the lads!

United looking like a lower league team so far. Here's hoping they find a rhythm.

    Unlucky Jones

Fair play to dowd for losing the weight, still not much of a ref though.

Same cross as in the Community Shield. Reckon we'll see that a lot this season.

Great run from giggs, crap decision making though.

A young giggs would of had the pace needed

    Crap from Giggs.

Classy tactics. Bypass midfield, long balls to welbeck

Did he think he didn't have the pace to go himself?

Should have been shooting there , even if it was with his right foot .

Wasn't a pace issue, he seemed to be looking for the pass as soon as he got it.

Of course it was a pace issue. Don't be so ridiculous. Giggs knew he couldn't run with the ball at any speed. Anyone else was darting through

Reminds me of the sort of thing Baines done at Everton under Moyes, but primarily because he basically covered all of the left wing there. Evra's a great man for bombing forward but those early crosses wasn't really a frequent thing for him under Fergie.

What the **** was Jones at there? You're playing RB!! Well down, David.

    Good work by DDG there

Well done De Gea there. Jeez we're rusty

Might as well be, used to play for Liverpool. Same for Fernando Torres and the likes.

Edit: "David Moyes Red/White army" chant there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,755 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Would like cleverly to play more positively, he seems to put the back further away from goal when he has it, rather than doing a forward pass.

Evra is also crossing using a style he never did under Fergie. He always cut across it as if he was pumping the ball froward. Now he's wrapping his foot around it. It's good to see.
