maybe its because the American government do have a recovered UFO like they actually did say and the aliens are worried what us humans will do with it.
So they abduct drunk rednecks, take the anuses out of cows to passively aggressively scare humanity into giving their space ship back? Why not just take it? They can cross interstellar space, make ships disappear and reappear but the American military is too much for them to deal with?

There have been numerous cases that UFOs have interfered with nuclear weapons sites. Maybe they are monitoring the americans more than they would Ireland as we have feck all...
Maybe those reports where technology malfunctions? A much more likely scenario.

I doubt they care much for their spaceship. and as for the nuclear sites, 20 missiles shut down all at the same time just as a ufo is hovering over the base?? not likely

personally i think the ufo craze in America is starting to die down
now the big new paranoia is that the Chinese and the north Koreans are going to invade them

    So what's their problem then?

1 or 20 missiles shutting down points to a technology failure. To say there was a UFO flying around outside is hersay, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just propaganda to cover up the fact their technology failed. To be honest I'm surprised the military are telling anyone about problems with their missile defense system.

Why would aliens attack the sites anyway? A nuke is a fairly crude device that doesn't even work to well in space, the devastating explosion we see in the earths atmosphere doesn't happen in space without air to push around. Why are they even worried about a slow moving missile when they've undoubtedly got more powerful weapons. Why aren't they attacking our railgun experiments?

Circuit breaker ? You seem to be under the impression American know how is infallible... Did they not have an issue with a missile nearly launching it's self due to safety failures. That an all the Blue on Blue that's happened People put to much stock in American technology being the best in the world. Its generally not it’s generally the most cost effective advanced enough to bomb country's lower down in the stakes. Why do you think they always talk big about Russia and don't do anything

If there are Aliens out there, they probably won’t look like us.

We have Sun at the right distance, for beings to live on the planet

We have the Moon at the right distance, to create tides in our oceans.

Without the tides, species may not have evolved.

We had a comet that wiped out the Dinosaurs and allowed us to evolve.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

I don't think they care what happens in space its the damage the nuclear weapon does to the earth is the main problem and the devastating effect it has on an area for 100s of years afterwards. whos to say aliens didn't put us on earth in the first place and are just looking out for us?!

That's our problem not theirs. I find it hard to believe that a species that would have had to develop a similar scientific model that we have, (remember science is the study of the natural world, like maths, it is what it is. There's not so much room for interpretation as their would be with the likes of religion), then find another intelligent species and think the best thing to do is interfere with their development. We have moral dilemmas like that here with potentially undiscovered tribes in the Amazon, scientists have that dilemma on a daily basis in Africa where they know it's wrong to interfere with the natural world when you're doing scientific research.

]whos to say aliens didn't put us on earth in the first place and are just looking out for us?!
Geneticists, geologists basically the science that has shown evidence for us being a biological life form from this planet. 98% of our genetic code is the same as a chimpanzee, we share about 60% of our DNA with a fruit fly. There's no evidence at all that we where implanted on this planet, not unless everything else was too.

Saw a documentary that says all water on earth came from comets and that life came from the oceans does this mean that we are actually aliens ourselves?

Well it could have been Panspermia say introducing the first RNA. Plenty of theories on it that are not to mad or discountable.

That speech has nothing to do with aliens. He makes a valid point but he's not in any way saying there's aliens amongst us.

It says what it's for in the first paragraph.
The Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) was proposed by U.S. President Ronald Reagan on March 23, 1983,[1] to use ground-based and space-based systems to protect the United States from attack by strategic nuclear ballistic missiles.

Very real and earth bound requirement for building the defence system.

According to the law of averages and statistics then YES of course there is alien life out there, but it may take many more thousands of years to make contact, providing their technology is advanced enough. Conversly if they are far more advanced and more hostile than us, then we may regret making ourselves so visible in our quest for 1st contact.
