He's back in training but they are meant to be taking some time to let him come back.

Sandro was out for 6.5mths and is back training but not fully match fit & AVB does not want to risk him today when we have plenty of cover in his role/position

He came on from the bench for a few mins only in last friendly afik

Palace have a lot of championship players in their squad, it's going to be very very hard for them.

They will miss Glen Murray a lot, just having someone who can hold the ball up well to potentially take pressure off etc..

Chamakh wil do well for them I feel.

You'd have to worry about their defence though, but you never know with Holloway.. It'll be an interesting season for them.

If spurs get an early goal today I'd fear for Palace but I think the game will be closer than most expected 2-1 to spurs.

Poor game,Spurs trying to overcomplicate things and Palace cant complete four passes and have barely had the ball in Spurs final third, Gayle woefully lost in that position too.

Spurs dominant in possession. Have my doubts that Palace can keep up their hard work and they don't look like scoring.

This should be an interesting challenge for AVB's tactical prowess in the second half to try and break down the great wall of china that is Palace's 20man defence.

However can't help but think that Palace will tire out like a puncture after all of that running around closing down.

Agreed. 1 goal will easily win this for Spurs too, Palace look very average going forward.
