Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow Cedrick just burned past Ramos with ease, squares it to Molina who finishes. 1-0 to Betis.

This Cedrick character looks like a very talented guy. Waltzing past the Madrid defenders. Lightning quick.

I dont really understand how season after season they still put up with the likes of Pepe and Ramos, the mind boggles

This line up from Real Madrid seems completely disjointed.

    Is Alonso injured?

It is, Ozil and Isco have struggled thus far.

    And he is still injured.

Isco scores what should be the winner against Betis. 2-1 with 3 mins to go.

Madrid get out of jail .
They seem to go behind in almost every home game and come back.

Real were poor. Very rarely seemed to know where their teammates would be when in the right areas. They will have to improve quickly.

Atletico Madrid take the lead vs Sevilla. Diego Costa with quite a good finish off a well worked corner.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Oh wow, Diego Perotti's scored an absolute blinder. Deserved equaliser for Sevilla and deserved goal for Perotti, he's had a good half so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

And the half ends with Costa having heated words with someone from Sevilla. Some things never change.

Madrid haven't been the same team since Alonso lost his form & fitness last season

Costa shows his potential as Atletico's main man this season, 2nd goal for him, 2nd goal for Atletico. 1-2

Ye Falcao did miss some games. This season though there's no shadow of Falcao, sure there's Villa but it's Costa whose taking top billing.

3-1, Rodriguez exploits the space left at the back of a Sevilla side who had pushed on.

Athleti cutting barca open with ease
Messi loosing a lot of ball good game end to end

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

After his virtuoso performance at the weekend, I don't understand why Cesc isn't starting.

    amazing diving skills on show.

Perhaps Iniesta to the Xavi role and Cesc playing as the most advanced of the midfield 3. Afterall it is asking quite a bit of Xavi to play on Sunday and then Wednesday.

Beautiful strike by Villa. Thoroughly deserved too. Wish Alba and Costa were both sent off for their antics.

Hopefully just precautionary, but he had been grasping his leg. Definite foul on Cesc for a peno

Neymar really does look like he's lost weight, there must be something in the anemia stories.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

In a game where Barcelona have new far from their best, 1-0 down away to Atletico, with Messi no longer on the pitch, on comes Neymar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

What has happened to Iniesta in the last year or so? He looks a shadow of the wonderful player he's capable of being.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭miralize

Fantastic last season imo. He's just not fit yet

    Neymar scores with a header!

Courtois definitely could have done better on that one.

He faded really badly in the second half of last season imo. He was totally anonymous in a lot of games.

    Cracking goal. First of many!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

And wouldn't you know it, Neymar is the hero. Pressure situation, top class opposition and Neymar produces, a dream start to his Barcelona career. 1-1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭miralize

I admire Simeone if only for the fact that even in the face of baldness, his answer is to grow his hair longer.

The same Spanish source that predicted the Isco to Real and Thiago to Bayern transfers before they were official now says that Bale will definitely go to Real, 99m euro.

They'll wait until after the Trofeo Bernabeu to make it public.

I'd say Tottenham cant believe their luck.
They will have brought in 5 new players ,Soldado,Paulinho,Capoue,Chadli and Coentrao and still have 30m euro left over from the Bale deal.

Real have lost their marbles .
They are getting rid of Coentrao ,a quality player and no doubt will try to flog Ozil or Di Maria now in a fire sale to pay for Bale.

Real have never had them to begin with.

Lunatics definitely run the asylum in that place.
