Aren't this year's first year's starting in Maynooth from Day 1?

Ya, wasn't meant literally. But Froebel will as good as a separate college from Maynooth. Froebel moved out there on their terms.

    In some ways, that's true.

They were anxious enough to get in there too though.

It would be probably be more accurate to say that both colleges were anxious to have it happen, and to happen in a positive way which allowed Froebel to keep elements of its identity and ethos which were important to it, and yet allowed Maynooth to become the first college in Ireland to offer professional qualifications to educators at all the levels: pre-school, primary, post-primary and adult education, all on the same campus.

Oh no in NUIG. I was surprised at UCD 'cause they spun themselves as the best college so I thought they would top most lists and go up a few points.
Every college spins itself as being the best college in the country.

We all know who's got the stats to back up calling themselves the best *cough* :D

Would probably depend on which stats they choose to highlight, and they're all proficient at picking the ones that make them look good tbh.

Without double-checking, I think that would put NUIM on the top of the league (among the universities anyway) atm.

Sorry, it's too late to change your CAO! :p

    Traitorous bastard. NUIG is supreme.

Physics with Nanotechnology in DIT. Points dropped to 350. Is this a makey-up course or does it lead to anything?

NUIM is 70% females. 1st year Psychology had 227 people in total, with 170 being girls. SHEER DEBACLE

That is entirely the opposite to what I heard.

On the Uni scale of social interaction UCD ranks somewhere around Guantanamo.

Does trinity do electives does anyone know ?

Guys what do you think.. I cant stop thinking about it.

I need 530 for radiation therapy.

I met all subject requirements to get a total of 505 (not my best 6)

I'm eligible for HEAR. Should I have gotten an offer? If not I'm appealing some exams hopefully picking up 5-10 points.

I'd appreciate any honest opinions here (:
I was in the same position and got offered my place in nuim through hear even though I was under, but there is only a certain ammount of places available for hear there may have been 8 places and 12 people going for it then it would work down the list from highest points to lowest points. Hope that makes sence.

In all seriousness I have friends from pretty much every area of study, dunno where you heard that from. I'm also quite good friends with almost everyone in my course. I was joking a little in that last post, but UCD really is great for socialising. :)

Not for M:F ratio these days, it was actually better in that regard in my day.

For the overall craic, yes, definitely.

If you took equating UCD to Gitmo seriously then the scene is drier than I thought :D

Plus, does anybody know what the socialisation is like in DCU, seems a bit dull?
