Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just noticed this on Friday that the icon isn't there but I'm still connected to the wifi in the house as its a wifi only iPad. Just wondering has anyone else had this issue ? And anyone have any possible solutions ? Thanks

Again, the most simple advice is to first and foremost do a hard shutdown - Holding the Home button and the Off button simultaneously. Then reboot and see if the issue persists.

You'd be surprised how many issues a simple Hard Shutdown can resolve. ;)

Isn't that just a fancy word for 'turn it of and turn it on again'?

Wonder when Apple will patent the phrase 'hard shutdown'...

    :p

Considering it has only really become a ubiquitous part of the lexicon with the proliferation of Apple products, it's probably only a matter of time. :D
