Northern Irish shooter shooting in south

Hi all just looking some information regarding shooting in the south of Ireland. I do live in Northern Ireland but live really close to the border. I do know a number of farmers who have said I can shoot on their land but what other things must I do in regards to the guards and paper work. Any help would be great.

You need;

• European firearms pass with all guns you intend to use on it (original, not copy)
• Complete non resident firearm certificate application
• Attach letters of permission
• €40 fee.

You send it all to the Super of the district in which the lands are. As said it costs €40 and lasts for a year.
