Corvo and I are your incredibley humble hosts for this evening of magic and wonder.
Now, I am sure there are some of you out there wondering what exactly the Bowies’ are. Well that is a very simple question to answer; the Bowies’ are an award ceremony where we recognise the achievements of people in our awesome community who have inhabited the three incarnations of the off topic thread by placating them with meaningless awards. The awards themselves have been nominated and voted for by you the people, meaning much like the Eurovision the results have little bearing on talent or skill of any kind. The results are in and have not been in any way independently verified, and we are still accepting bribes in the categories of best male and female poster, please feel free to PM either myself or Corvo if you are interested.12

We are going to kick off this fantastic evening with the award for BEST POST.
Over the last two years we have filled 2 Off Topics as well as thousands of posts across the forum so it's bound to be difficult to pick out exactly what is the single best post, and in fact we didn’t. There were two which proved particularly memorable. But first the runners up
