Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New prize draw game

I have an idea for a new lottery prize draw. Would like to get some feedback to check if it would be of interest. It would take a different format to existing lotteries as it will always have a winner because it isn't a pic your number game & has a higher chance for players to win. 1/3 rd of the funds generated goes to a registered charity chosen by the overall winner. The winner has the choice whether to go public or stay anonymous, but the chosen charity must be announced. Entry's would be online and winners picked at random. The format means that every draw has a winner & a charity who benefits. As interest builds the prize funds will increase. I'm aware there are limits to how much can be payed out weekly giving national lottery a monopoly but may overcome by having longer times between draws.

We have a unique way for people to inter online and entries are linked to a code which is linked to the winner after draw is completed. As you can appreciate I can't go into the format at present in order to protect the idea.

Can anyone advise regarding licences and laws regulating prize draws or lotteries. Thanks.

    That's not a lottery, that's a raffle.

Thank for your reply, raffle, draw, lottery it's all the one at present.
Do you think it may be worth following up? The format is quite simple.
