Perhaps you should try to get in touch with them somehow. I don't know if anyone here had any luck with that? But the deadline is tomorrow evening.

Like someone said earlier, have your statement ready, so that you can just go with it as soon as you eventually get in to the application.

Have you still not had any luck with your ID? Double-check everything! Try to contact them!

UPDATE (Wednesday the 28th). Applications for places in Hall received before 5pm on Wednesday the 28th will be considered in the initial offer of places.
The ID numbers of successful applicants will be posted on this web site before 5pm on Friday the 30th.
There will be a second allocation of places in the week of the 2nd of September to cater for those who receive CAO round 2 offers and any students from Round 1 who did not receive their TCD ID number in time for the first offering.

I managed to get my ID number, by emailing them, my student ID was in the automated response I got(saw someone post the method on fb) but it wont let me log on to register? Do I have to wait for the email to do that?

Think I'm at the same stage as you now, created the account but then didn't receive the email, so I can't log in yet. I emailed them this morning asking if it takes a few hours/needs to be sent manually or if there's a problem cause in fairness when you create the account it says something along the lines of 'an email has now been sent to you'. Will let you know what happens, if I get a reply... :rolleyes:

Sorry can someone just fill me in.
I got my ID from the link method. Then I created an account on the halls website and made my application without bother. Then I went to My.tcd.ie and put in my ID and DOB and changed the password. Am I ok or is there something else I should be waiting on?

I forgot to say that once I got my no. I registered(that was last night) and I applied for accommodation(I created an account) but I cant log on through the tcd portal

What are we even waiting for, exactly? Is there actually an email that people get from Trinity after they accept their offer? I don't even know what I'm waiting for anymore!
I got the one from the provost (including ID number), before I accepted my offer, and then one today about the language options for my course.
I was kind of waiting for a big confirmation-of-acceptance-and-welcome email, but it's slowly dawning on me that that's probably not going to happen, is it?
