Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know a reliable SIM unlocking app for the Galaxy S? The ones I've tried either require purchasing or don't work at all.

It's a second hand phone which seems to be rooted and running Gingerbread through CWM. I'd like to update it to ICS or JB when unlocked.

Galaxy_S Unlock seems to have done the trick.
I'm having a weird time trying to import contacts though. No matter where I put them the phone won't find them - it has mounted the sd cad to /mnt/emmc whatever that is?

Make sure and keep a backup of the phone, you can easily dick your imei up to a generic one on the galaxy s - its the efs folder, if you lose that you will lose signal on the phone full stop and need a Samsung flash tool to fix it.....

Something to bear in mind.... :-)
