Hello I am just wondering what type of IT courses are available to get into? I did a FETAC Level 5 in Media Production and Photography last year, but after thinking about it more, I might just do IT instead. BUt I am kinda still new to this so I would not know what to google for exactly, whether it is computers or web design. Do they do PLCs for IT courses? Please let me know if ye know any good ones that you can apply straight to the college, not CAO.

You have some (a lot) of reading ahead. Do you know what kind of it you want to get into (admin, project management, programming) ?
Even then you will have to specialise again (Linux admin, networking, wintel, which programming language etc)
Find someone working in it - ideally for 10 - 15 years, talk to them and take their advice whatever it may be.
But be warned , getting into it is a long road - much long than it used to be.it isn't a career to get into while you're making your mind up as to what you want to be when you grow up.
