I got an offer from them for the NC003 course which is computing. I'm not sure if I should take the course or not as I'm not sure how good the college is, so I'm just looking for some insight here.

It's a level 8 degree bachelor in computing. Is that computer science or just general computing? (If none has prior knowledge of this course).

I guess what I'm asking is, would I find it tough to get a job after taking this course because its from "Narional college of Ireland" , despite the fact I'll have a level 8 degree.

I'm currently thinking of taking this course and then going to UCD to further my education as a graduate? Thanks a lot guys.

If it's a Level 8 degree, accredited by HETAC (or whatever they are calling themselves now), then I would not worry at all. Generally speaking, employers do not care about what institute a degree came from.

From what I can gather, they do have a decent enough reputation and I know one of the lecturers there and he is a very smart guy, with a PhD and his own IT company (he lectures part-time). If that is the caliber of staff there, well then you have nothing to worry about.
